Frederick County’s Office of Sustainability and Environmental Resources is hiring a Sustainability Program Manager!

Exempt; full-time; 40 hours per week; Monday – Friday; 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; grant-funded

The professional position is responsible for facilitating, planning, and implementing key sustainability programs for internal government operations and community-wide sustainability initiatives, writing grants and managing grant-funded programs, liaising with the Frederick County Sustainability Commission, and liaising with outside organizations and the public for the Office of Sustainability and Environmental Resources within the County Executive’s Office.  Key functions include stakeholder engagement and program management relating to governmental sustainability programs, particularly in the area of energy management. Supervision may be given to interns and volunteers; supervision is received from the Manager, Office of Sustainability and Environmental Resources.
