Glen Echo Park Aquarium (GEPA) in historic Glen Echo Park is seeking a Summer Camp Director! 

Camps are one week long per session, 5 days a week (Mondays-Fridays), beginning June 21st and running to August 20th. GEPA offers science-focused camps with weekly themes related to exploring our natural world. Camps will spend a majority of their time outside doing stream explorations, plant and animal identifications, environment based lessons and nature center/aquarium tours.

There are two age groups that directors will be working with: 5-8 years old and 8-13 years old.

Responsibilities include following established curriculum and developing lessons, working with GEPA Director, serving as point of contact for parents, and working with a Camp Assistant.

Qualifications include experience working with kids in either formal or informal settings, basic knowledge of Maryland wildlife and the Chesapeake Bay area and a positive attitude! CPR and first aid certification a plus but not required.
