SilvoCulture, Inc is a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to helping plant a million nut trees in the mid-Atlantic area. We are looking for someone to lead our efforts to identify and apply for grants that will support planting nut and fruit trees. This person should be fluent in the world of tree-planting and understand the different kind of grants and programs (federal, state, and local) that are available to non-profits, farmers, and landowners, and be able to advise SilvoCulture on potential grants. This person should have experience with completing grant applications. Ideally, this person will already have connections within the environmental and agricultural network of the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. The initial focus will be in the area around Frederick, MD, including southern PA. The position will begin as part-time.
