Maryland Sea Grant has an opening for a temporary Grants Management Assistant position (up to 6 months). This individual will help to monitor and reconcile our grant accounts and support other accounting responsibilities in our business office. The position is open now and hours are flexible (envisioned as a part-time hourly role). Initial training will be at our offices in College Park, though hybrid work is a possibility for the right candidate. Grants Management Assistant (part-time, contractual)

Maryland Sea Grant seeks a part-time Grants Management Assistant for up to a six-month contract. This position will learn about and help to review and monitor our portfolio of grant accounts. Duties and responsibilities of the position include monitoring departmental accounts by gathering statistical data, maintaining reports and records, identifying variances, errors and discrepancies. Reviewing and processing financial documents such as invoices, vouchers, receipts, requisitions, timesheets and reports, ensuring accuracy of mathematical computations and completeness. Performing clerical duties for Business Office, including preparing and logging purchasing requests.
