The Interstate Commission on the Potomac River Basin (ICPRB) has an opening for an entry-level Research Support Analyst. Responsibilities will include i) assisting in managing Commission datasets, ii) constructing analysis tools and software packages to support projects on water supply, water quality, and aquatic life, iii) developing websites, and iv) providing organizational support related to Information Technology, including assistance with computer acquisition and setup, and v) remaining current on novel technologies as well as threats. Candidates must have demonstrated programming experience in R and Python, with C++, Javascript, and FEWS (Flood Early Warning System) experience considered a plus. A background in the environmental sciences is preferable. The position requires strong communication skills.  Salary range in upper $30k-low $40k, commensurate with education and experience.
