The Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is seeking a Director for the Center for Conservation Education and Stewardship.   This position leads the Department’s environmental education initiatives.  They will serve as a link between DNR and the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) to ensure that DNR programs targeted at schools meet the needs of both students and teachers.  They will lead and manage the Center staff to cultivate a strong collaborative culture that clearly outlines the values, priorities and practices to guide the way for the Center.  They will create and articulate a solid strategic vision for how the Center and its programs contribute to, influence or add strategic value to State and Regional environmental literacy efforts.
