The Maryland Department of Natural Resources is looking for a team member to join its Eyes on the Bay water quality monitoring and assessment team. In addition to creating and managing the popular eyesonthebay.net website, the team manages a plethora of water quality and habitat data for Maryland’s streams, rivers and the Chesapeake and Coastal Bays. These data are used to determine the health of our waterways and habitats for crabs, oysters, fish, underwater grasses and other aquatic life, as well as guide restoration activities.

We are looking for someone with the knowledge and desire to apply and learn technical skills to further our mission and become part of the larger interagency effort to manage and restore the Chesapeake Bay.

Please consult the official job announcement link for further details and how to apply. Applications are due September 15, 2021.
