Environmental Concern is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented individual for the part-time Outreach and Education Coordinator position. The coordinator will support and strengthen our social media presence, professional education programs and administrative support.
This position plays a key role in managing and growing Environmental Concern’s social media engagements by creating dynamic, informative content that highlights our mission, programs, projects, and impact in wetland restoration, horticulture, and education.
The Outreach and Education Coordinator actively plans and supports professional wetland training. In this collaborative role, you work closely with participants, instructors, and partners to ensure a positive, seamless experience at every stage, including field trips. You are responsible for sharing information about courses through digital platforms, manage registrations and communications, prepare course materials, create schedules, and contribute ideas to evaluate and enhance course offerings.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creative, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks. Strong written communication skills and experience with social media platforms are required. Experience working with the Constant Contact email marketing platform is a plus. An interest in wetland education and outreach is also important. This part-time role offers an excellent way to contribute to a mission-driven, non-profit organization. You will help connect professionals, partners, and the community to Environmental Concern’s work and education initiatives.
Work week – 20 to 25 hours. The coordinator works out of EC’s office in Easton, MD. Some remote time is possible. The position may transition from part-time to full-time in the future.
