Part-time Nursery Associate
Great for a plant lover looking for some extra hours!
Part-Time Monday and Tuesday 10am-5pm , Sunday 10am-4pm (11am-4pm in slower months)
Seasonal position: End of March through end of September
Pay- $14-17/hr – Depending on experience
General Duties:
- Moves and organizes plants
- Helps customers visiting the nursery with plant selections and moving purchases to their car
- Weeds pots, fixes signage, arranges plants
- Helps customers select and pay for plants
- Organizes the nursery area
- Waters nursery plants, client hold section plants, and containers/gardens on property
- Helps cover our retail store, Cultivate, as needed
Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Must possess a working knowledge of native plants, their preferred site conditions and basic gardening skills
- Candidates must have their own reliable transportation
- Must be on time for work, detail oriented, listen to instructions and behave professionally
