The Watershed Resilience Program Manager supports the mission of Maryland Department of Natural Resources Chesapeake and Coastal Service Unit (CCS) by providing leadership, policy guidance, technical assistance, programmatic oversight, and science communication to help the state and its local communities restore local waterways. The goal of the Watershed Resilience Program Manager is to ensure that policy, programs, and workplans align with state and department-wide goals for the resilience and restoration of the Chesapeake and Atlantic Coastal Bays. This position supervises and provides direction to the Center for Watershed Resilience and the incumbent is responsible for planning, managing and supervising the day-to-day operations of the Center. The Center manages the Whole Watershed Program, as well as Governor’s Bays Workgroup; develops and implements Maryland policy for the Chesapeake and Coastal Bays; and represents the Department on various Chesapeake Bay Program committees and other state initiatives.
