ShoreRivers seeks a part-time Education Coordinator to assist with K-12 classroom curriculum, student field experiences, teacher professional development, and community engagement programming from January-June of 2020.

The Education Coordinator reports to the Director of Education & Outreach and works primarily out of the Easton, MD office at the Eastern Shore Conservation Center. This is a part-time contractual position for 25-30 hours a week from January 2, 2019 – June 30, 2020. The employee must be flexible to work within school day hours and occasionally evenings or weekends at an hourly rate of $18-$20 depending on experience. Traveling to school and field trip locations is necessary. The position is not salaried and is β€œat-will.” At the end of the contractual period there is potential for full-time employment.

ShoreRivers seeks to protect and restore Eastern Shore waterways through science-based advocacy, restoration, and education.We have a dedicated staff of educators, scientists, restoration specialists, and advocates focused on policies and projects that will improve the health of our rivers. Our staff includes four Waterkeepers who regularly patrol and monitor our waters and serve as key spokespersons. Our staff also includes a team of environmental educators and a team of agricultural restoration specialists.
