WSA is searching for a qualified Steward Engagement Specialist to join our team!
The Steward Engagement Specialist is charged with evaluating and tracking the involvement and impact of Master Watershed Stewards and creating and supporting programs to further their engagement.
Since 2009, WSA has trained over 260 Master Watershed Stewards whose role is to engage their communities in actions that help reduce pollution. Last year, these leaders planted over 13,700 native plants and trees in over 480 projects, removed 18,000 square feet of invasive plants, 18,000 pounds of trash and engaged almost 20,000 Anne Arundel County residents with environmental education and technical assistance.
