Stormwater Maintenance & Consulting is seeking two enthusiastic entry level or experienced inspectors. Our professional staff continues to grow with a dedicated group of professionals who have a passion for all things stormwater.  These positions are due to promotions and expanding workload.  As existing infrastructure specialists with leading edge projects, you will be challenged technically while enjoying a vibrant working environment with one of the Mid-Atlantic’s leading stormwater focused firms.

The position will involve field work including visual inspection, documentation, and office work on reporting the condition of existing stormwater management and drainage systems. Field work will be throughout the Baltimore/Washington corridor with a primary focus on the Montgomery County area.

Not required, but ideal candidates will have had exposure to or experience in one of the following:

  • Reading of site plans and related drawings
  • Drainage and/or stormwater management design
  • Construction implementation and/or estimating
  • Construction inspection or geotechnical testing
  • Post-construction stormwater and BMP inspection
  • CCTV pipeline inspection

On-job training will be provided to accomplish the specific tasks. If you have compaction and materials inspection or surveying experience and know you can do more, this could be for you.  This position is also perfect for the newly degreed person who wishes to get started in the industry and who likes a variety of tasks and environments.

Position requires good communication skills (friendly, outgoing, courteous, etc), and the capability to work in both office and field environments. You will inspect above-ground and below-ground structures, so good physical condition is required.  Confined Space Entry training will be provided.  You will be mentored and coached by industry leaders. Basic computer skills required. Must be able to read site plans and absolutely must be detail oriented.
