The City of Martinsburg is now accepting applications for Stormwater Technician II in the Public Works Department.
Bachelor’s degree within environmental studies or related field or any combination of related education and skills required. The Stormwater Technician II, under the direction of the Stormwater Program Manager, performs various administrative, technical and physical tasks as needed for the Public Works Department and the Stormwater Management Program. In cooperation with the Stormwater Program Manager and the Stormwater Program Coordinator, the Stormwater Technician II will assist with conducting field inspections and monitoring the quality of water in the surrounding areas. They will conduct inspections, plan reviews and site surveys for stormwater runoff compliance, assist with environmental education outreach, and maintain data and reporting requirements in accordance with state and Federal regulations.
