About Our Camp
The Audubon Naturalist Society (ANS) seeks highly motivated and creative individuals for the 2022 Camp Audubon season. This summer, Camp Audubon will offer day programs for children ages 5-17, with a focus on ages 5-10. Camp is based at our 40-acre nature sanctuary in Chevy Chase, MD. General Schedule and Position Descriptions
Educators develop and lead outdoor nature and science camp programs for 16 campers and supervise college-age interns, and high school volunteers. Positions are available from 2 to 9 weeks from June 20– August 19. Pay range from $740-$780 per week. The typical day runs from 8:15am- 4:15pm.
Requirements
B.A/B.S in science or education
Experience working with children
Basic knowledge of natural history
Must enjoy working outside
Past camp experience a plus

COVID-19 Protocols
Camps will be mostly outdoors with an indoor classroom for inclement weather. All campers and staff must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Additional measures such as indoor masking, boosters, cohorting, and social distancing may be required based on the status of the pandemic.
