The University of Marylan Extension Faculty Specialist in Entomology and IPM is responsible for planning, organizing, developing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs in entomology, IPM, and plant diagnostics. The Faculty Specialist will conduct demonstration and applied research projects that generate new knowledge and practices, and use multiple platforms and approaches to educate diverse audiences to adopt climate-resilient, sustainable gardening and landscaping practices. Programs will be designed to assist with the entomology and IPM educational programming needs of the Home and Garden Information Center, (HGIC), State Master Gardener Office, and county-based home horticulture faculty.
