The Industrial and General Permits Division is looking for a volunteer interested in gaining valuable experience during the summer. The volunteer will work directly with staff and provide assistance to the permit writers and natural resource planners, with respect to projects involved in Chesapeake Bay nutrient reductions. The position requires a minimum of 20 hours a week, and work must be performed during normal business hours of 8am to 5pm. Volunteers will be trained in our database tools, however must be proficient in Microsoft office tools such as Word, Excel. Volunteers should be working on a degree in the environmental field and have an interest in the goals of the Clean Water Act.
