The South River Federation, a local watershed monitoring and restoration non-profit organization based in Edgewater, Maryland is seeking an intern for the summer of 2018 (start/end dates negotiable). This field-based position focuses on watershed issues, habitat restoration, and vegetation management. The majority of work will be outdoors and may be in challenging conditions. The Federation is seeking candidates who have knowledge and experience in ecology, ichthyology/fisheries studies, conservation landscaping, stormwater and hydrology, and/or habitat restoration. We are seeking a diverse set of candidates who can aid the Federation in implementing our mission.
