MAEOE is looking for someone to build Green Schools youth leadership and our Youth Advisory
MAEOE is seeking a qualified candidate to be the lead for our Youth Summit on May 26th

This position requires an individual who is flexible and willing to learn and available to work 10-15
hours per week between March and June 2022.
The responsibilities include:
• Plan Monthly meetings
• Conduct virtual Monthly meetings for the Youth Advisory Council
• Create a work plan to recruit youth members
• Assist with organizing and pre-summit planning
• Identifying youth roles (for the virtual and in-person outdoors Summit in May 2022)
• Produce a “final” evaluation/report that includes lessons learned and a plan for “next
The Youth Coordinator will have the opportunity to participate in Project Learning Tree (PLT) &
PLT/MAERDAF Youth panels. MAEOE offers a self-guided EE Certification along with the
opportunity to engage in PLT Forest Literacy.

The pay $16 per hour, 10 – 15 hours/week
A car is necessary and a valid driver’s license is required
