On a typical day, CRC Chesapeake Bay Program Staffers can be engaged in wide variety of activities. Staffers complete routine administrative activities such as organizing meetings, drafting minutes and reports, populating databases, and communicating with partnership members and are often assigned in-depth, substantive projects to help facilitate a particular Bay Program objective. Throughout the course of their appointment, Staffers are encouraged to take advantage of multiple professional development activities that are designed to help each Staffer explore future career avenues and expand their professional background and skill set. These opportunities come in many forms ranging from individual conference attendance, interaction with local researchers, completing an independent project, and volunteering to participation in group trainings and field outings.
We currently have three opening in the program for positions supporting the Habitat Goal Implementation Team (close date 6/21), the Fisheries Goal Implementation Team (close date 6/25), and the Water Quality Goal Implementation Team (close date 7/5).
