    Sustainable Holiday Greenery Workshop
    Holiday Centerpiece Workshop
    If you enjoy decorating for the holidays with sustainably-sourced, hand-made decorations, join us on Saturday, December 5th at the Robinson Nature Center (6692 Cedar Lane, Columbia, MD) for our annual Holiday Centerpiece Workshop from 2 to 4 PM.
    We provide festive music, light snacks and cider, along with sustainably-harvested, freshly-cut greens (pine, holly, spruce, boxwood, arborvitae, etc.), ribbons and other adornments. Centerpieces are $30 to make, and you are welcome to bring family members over the age of 14 to participate in the fun. Our instructors will give you tips on how to create well-balanced centerpieces and holiday wreaths, as well as where and how to harvest greenery legally and sustainably. Participants will take home their centerpieces at the end of the workshop.

    Weds – Sat 9 AM – 5 PM and Sun 12 PM – 5 PM.
    The Nature Center is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
