    It’s Raining Classrooms! Rain Gardens for Learning
    Rain Garden Installation Webinar & Workshop
     
    Cacapon Institute is offering a two-part training to share their know-how on installing rain gardens. Thanks to the Chesapeake Bay Trust and National Fish & Wildlife Foundation this training is FREE!
     
    Are you looking to fix that mud puddle at your school? Do you have flooding issues that cancel recess? Do you want to develop an outdoor learning space that can link hands-on activities to educational standards? We have the answer for you—a rain garden!
    Join us in a one-hour webinar to discuss the planning essentials for installing a rain garden, then meet us in-person and get your hands dirty as we walk through the stages of installing a rain garden at the Claud E. Kitchens Outdoor School at Fairview.  (20 minutes West of Hagerstown, MD)
     
    WEBINAR: Wednesday, April 6th from 6:30 to 7:30 PM
    Participation in the webinar prior to attending the workshop is highly encouraged as it provides the essentials to planning and utilizing the rain garden.
     
    WORKSHOP: Saturday, April 16th  from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
    Location: Claud E. Kitchens Outdoor School at Fairview, 12808  Draper Road, Clear Spring, MD 21722 
    Workshop Rain Date: Saturday, May 14th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
