This is a Governor’s Summer Internship Program proposal developed by a team of exceptional undergraduates. This was presented to Governor O’Malley in August 2009 and was well recieved. It offers some good ideas, and, at the very least, some food for thought on creating a system that is regional/statewide. This kind of approach may lend itself towards landscape scale and inter-jurisdictional forest conservation
