The Annapolis Maritime Museum educates youth and adults about the Annapolis area’s rich maritime heritage and the ecology of the Chesapeake Bay through programs, exhibits and community events.The Museum’s Education Program is recognized for its innovative curriculum; educating more than 5000 public and private school children and adults annually in science and social studies using Chesapeake Bay heritage and ecology as an integrating educational context.
The Education Program Manager is responsible for assisting with and developing multiple programs for participants ranging from pre-K to adult. Our programs connect children to the Chesapeake Bay through engaging activities and programs. Many of the students who come through the Education Center have never
seen or had experience on the Chesapeake Bay.
