Potomac Conservancy has been identified as a Host Organization for Chesapeake Bay Trust’s (CBT) 2013-2014 Chesapeake Conservation Corps program!
CBT is now accepting applications for volunteers to serve in the coming year. If you are between the ages of 18-25, and are passionate about environmental stewardship and civic engagement, apply today!
A Chesapeake Conservation Corps volunteer will work directly with Potomac Conservancy’s Outreach Team to help meet our goal of connecting individuals and communities to the Potomac River. The volunteer will host programs that promote environmental stewardship and assist with field projects that restore land and vegetation along the Potomac and its tributaries. The volunteer will engage the community in the welfare of the river and its surrounding lands, leading hands-on activities that benefit the natural environment of the Potomac River region.
