This link shows a breakout of the Military Departments. Very important to understand that the USACE and the DoD installations report through different Assistant Secretaries. Under the Secretary of the Army, USACE reports up through the Assistant Secretary for Civil Works (Mr. Woodley). Army installations report through the Assistant Secretary of Installations and Environment (Mr. Davis). In both cases, these positions are politically appointed, civilian positions.
