The Pennsylvania Land Trust Association (PALTA) is now soliciting nominations to honor Pennsylvania municipalities and counties that have demonstrated leadership and success in the conservation of our special places and landscapes.

Award will be presented during lunch on Saturday, April 14th in conjunction with the 2018 Pennsylvania Land Conservation Conference April 12-14 | The Desmond Hotel (Malvern). Honorees are expected to be in attendance.

Award Eligibility
Any Pennsylvania municipal or county government that has demonstrated leadership and vision that resulted or will result in the permanent conservation of open space and valuable and unique land and/or water resources. Success in natural resource conservation can be achieved through land use planning and regulations, resource protection strategies, and land and/or easement acquisition. Recognition may be based on the work of a government, multi-government partnership, commission or board but must be sanctioned by the governing body or bodies.
