The position is lead on conducting a variety of field based natural resource activities throughout the Mid-Atlantic (DC, DE, MD, NJ, PA, VA, WV) region. This may include fire line layout, construction, and subsequent prescribed fire operations, invasive plant removal, and various ecological mapping and inventory projects. Work will also involve extensive outdoor physical labor in diverse weather conditions and may require working some weekends. Applicants must be self-starters with superior technical, mechanical, physical and supervisory abilities. A flexible schedule is required. Wildland firefighting training (FFT2) and/or commercial herbicide applicators license preferred. This position is supervised by company President.
