Designs for Greener Gardens is a fine gardening company, specializing in superior estate maintenance, unique garden creations (design/build) and container gardening. We are located in Annapolis MD where most of our work occurs.
We are currently looking for motivated horticulturists to help us handle the growth of our company and spread beauty around!
This opening is a wonderful opportunity for energetic and motivated professional individuals looking to season their horticultural skills, take on responsibilities and get exposure to all the intricacies of fine residential maintenance, garden installation as well as business operations.
Strong candidates should:
– Be willing to learn new skills and apply themselves.
– Have 3 years or more of hands on experience in horticulture (beginners may be considered only if eager to learn and prove themselves).
– Have strong motivation and sense of duty.
– Be detail oriented, yet productive.
– Love working outdoors.
– Be in good physical condition (need to be able to lift 50lbs).
Additional:
– Working knowledge of Spanish useful.
– Construction/craft skills welcome
– Additional certifications in horticulture a plus
Both full time and part time positions are available.
