The Columbia Association, one of the nation’s largest homeowner’s associations serving approximately 100,000 residents, is searching for a Watershed Manager/Coordinator. This newly created full-time position will report directly to the president and the director of Open Space Management with overall responsibility for developing and administering the Annual Watershed Management Work Plan. This position is also responsible for setting benchmarks and measuring the success of Watershed Management through Water Quality monitoring and resident behavior assessments, while also assisting other divisions and departments within CA on Watershed Policy Compliance. Bachelors or Masters (preferred) in related field with 10-15 years of experience. Familiarity with State regulations, policies and requirements. In-field (hands-on) sampling/assessment/surveying experience is a must. Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Community education outreach experience and interdisciplinary work experience with project multi-tasking capabilities. Above average communication skills both verbal and written are essential.
