Are you navigating the unique squeeze of being a mid-career professional in the Chesapeake Bay watershed?

You might identify as someone responsible for delivering environmental outcomes, facilitating complex partnerships, and managing a teamโ€”often while navigating limited budgets, organizational change, and collective burnout.

Many training programs target entry-level or executive professionals, with little support for the professionals who translate high-level strategy into daily, actionable tasks.

The Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay is developing a 7-week virtual cohort training for early 2027 that is specifically designed for mid-career Chesapeake professionals who manage staff, projects, workgroups, or coalitions.

The 2027 theme is Building Resilient & Inclusive Teams. This cohort will dive deep into the core mechanics of adaptive leadership, equipping you to cultivate psychological safety, master inclusive facilitation across diverse watershed stakeholders, resource for you and your team under tight capacity constraints, and sustain your teamโ€™s energy for the long game of conservation.

This program will feature a 70/30 co-created curriculum, meaning you will help dictate the deep-dive topics to ensure they solve your real-world, real-time workplace bottlenecks.

Help us build it (and secure the funding to make it happen).

This program is currently contingent on grant funding. To help us prove the demand for this space to our funders and tailor the curriculum to your exact needs, please take 3 minutes to fill out our Preliminary Interest Form.
