2026 Outdoor Rec Summit in Ocean City, September 29-October 1
The 3rd Annual Maryland Outdoor Recreation Summit comes to Ocean City in just a few weeks! Over three days, attendees will network with other members of Maryland’s outdoor community, learn from experts, and explore recreation first-hand through excursions around the Lower Eastern Shore.
Highlights include:

Outdoor Rec Trek: A team-based kickoff scavenger hunt at Assateague Island exploring local outdoor organizations.

Keynotes & Breakout Sessions: Interactive panels and presentations focused on the connections between outdoor rec and the economy, stewardship, and community health.

Guided Excursions: Included with registration, attendees will have the chance to sign up for outdoor excursions such as sunrise beach yoga, birding hikes, surf fishing, paddling, and biking, to explore the region and engage in outdoor rec first-hand alongside other attendees.

Networking Events: Evening happy hours and a beach bonfire to build connections.
