Learn nature journaling or improve your journaling skills with Southern Maryland Audubon’s “Joy of Nature Journaling” in-person workshop at beautiful White Plains Regional Park near LaPlata in Charles County. A great way to spend a colorful fall morning getting closer to birds and nature. Kaelyn Stewart, our student scholarship winner to  Hog Island Audubon Camp in Maine this past summer, will guide us in learning to observe nature on a more intimate level. No artistic skills required. Her journaling workshop last month was a major hit and great fun!

Workshop is free. Open to all ages 10 and above. Sketchbook and pen will be provided. Meet in the park parking lot, look for us beneath a hand-held Southern Maryland Audubon logo sign. Please RSVP to president.somdaudubon@gmail.com
