Want to attract more birds and beneficial insects to your yard?

Entomologist Dr.  Ashley Kennedy will share the results of community science research using 15,000 crowd-sourced photos to learn more about the critical food web connection between plants, insects and birds and what we can do in our own yards to make a difference.

Kennedy works for the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control and previously studied with Dr. Doug Tallamy at the University of Delaware in his pioneering research on birds and insects and their dependence on native plants.

The presentation is free and open to all. To receive the link to join, sign up for our Osprey newsletter using the form at the bottom of our homepage at www.somdaudubon.org. We will email the link prior to the event.

This program can qualify as continuing education for Master Gardeners and Master Naturalists.
