Virginia’s Buffer Summit – October 14th at Hungry Mother State Park
Please join us for the annual Virginia’s Buffer Summit on Wednesday, October 14th at beautiful Hungry Mother State Park in Marion, VA. The Summit theme this year will be Buffers Across Virginia: People, Place, and Purpose.
Join us to explore unique approaches to buffer restoration and how to collaborate and create healthy streamside ecosystems for clean water across the Commonwealth. Learn more on the Summit website, and register for the Summit here.
Feel free to share the attached flyer with others, and consider staying for a few days to enjoy peak foliage in Southwest Virginia with activities before and after the Summit.
This year’s Summit is hosted by the Upper & Middle James Riparian Consortium in partnership with the Clinch River Soil & Water Conservation District, Crater Planning District Commission, Rappahannock River Roundtable, Shenandoah Valley Conservation Collaborative, and the Virginia Department of Forestry.
