Howard EcoWorks is an environmental nonprofit based in Howard County, Maryland. We are addressing climate issues with environmental restoration, while providing career opportunities in the green industry. We are currently accepting applications for our 2026 summer workforce development program, EcoAmbassadors.
EcoAmbassadors: A two-month, paid, summer internship program for high school students, ages 16 -18, focused on environmental stewardship and leadership development. Participants engage in hands-on learning experiences, training, and mentorship while exploring climate-forward solutions and community-based environmental action. The program equips students with the knowledge, confidence, and leadership skills to become the next generation of environmental changemakers.
