The Montgomery County Parks – Training Team, has an amazing opportunity for a Training Coordinator Intern. The intern will assist with training and organizational development needs for Montgomery Parks employees, while completing a training campaign from start to finish.

This position pays at a rate of $18.00 per hour to $20.00 per hour depending on education and qualifications.

Internship is from June 2024 to August 2024.

Work schedule is ~25 hours per week (Monday-Friday). Work schedule will be determined at time of hire.

 

Examples of Important Duties

 

  • Evaluate current training provided
  • Develop a training campaign and present results
  • Support research into Training providers
  • Assisting with training gap analyses
  • Reconciling classes from Learning Management System
  • Booking event spaces for training sessions
  • Assisting with marketing material for promoting training events
  • Analyzing data from internal surveys
  • Assist with planning for annual training events

 

Minimum Qualifications

Applicant should be currently enrolled in a college program focusing on training, organization development, HR, industrial design, or related field.

Supplemental Information

Physical Demands / Working Conditions: 
This position primarily works in Wheaton HQ however will require onsite visits to other facilities in the Montgomery County area.

This position is a part-time position which does not provide benefits.

A criminal background investigation will be completed prior to hire.
