I studied sustainability and Horticulture at Pennsylvania State University where I earned a BS in Horticulture. I worked with many landscape companies honing my skills in garden maintenance, design, hardscape design and installation before starting my own company in 2006. I earned an MS in Herbal Medicine and Nutrition from Maryland University of Integrative Health. My company has designed, installed and maintained ecologically sustainable landscapes in the Howard County (Baltimore-Washington) area for 13 years. I've been working in regional gardens for 17 years.Lauren's Garden Service & Native Plant Nursery offers an ecologically sustainable solution for landscape design, install and maintenance. We never use pesticides or herbicides. We know weeds vs native plants. Our detailed gardeners care about the environment. We design and install 95% natives in our work so we have years of experience with this expertise and know the right plants to select for your individual project. We don't over mulch, over fertilize, cover tree and plant bases with mulch or plant invasives.
