My Background: Currently, I am a graduate student at Towson University in their Environmental Science program. I am an eager environmentalist with a working knowledge of the environmental field from both a corporate and regulatory perspective. I am experienced in water quality standards, the Chesapeake Bay TMDL, the Clean Water Act, Chesapeake Bay Watershed modeling, environmental policy, environmental impact assessments, water quality monitoring, and environmental systems. I am passionate about conservation and the environment. My education and my summer fieldwork experience have strongly confirmed environmental conservation and management as the career choice for me. I am now looking forward to a career focused on my passion for the environment, presenting opportunities to work with similar minded people.
My Work History: I am currently an Environmental Specialist intern at Maryland Environmental Services in their Environmental Engineering department. I have held seasonal internships at the South River Federation in Annapolis, MD, the Envrionmental Health Department of Wicomico County in Salisbury, MD, and a Student Conservation Corps postion at the Indian Head Naval Support Center in Indian Head, MD.
