My Background:
Dr. Campbell is a scientist with extensive information technology experience currently leading data management for a group of 18 long-term ecological research sites. His web site, http://www.EnvornmentalInformatics.com provides examples of applying modern information technology approaches to ecological research. There is also a small section describing Maryland Nature with information related to talks and field trips he has presented.
He is a Maryland Master Naturalist and actively volunteers for monitoring and restoration work with several local groups most notably with the National Aquarium, Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary, and MD DNR Stream Waders. He has present talks and workshops entitled "Things that Go Ribbet in the Night: Introduction to Amphibian Calls" at many nature centers and MAEOE conferences.
