My Background: Ned is the award-winning author of four books: <em><strong>The Chesapeake Watershed, Saving the Places we Love</strong></em>, <em><strong>The Big Melt</strong></em>, and Good Endeavour. He is an earth and environmental scientist and a lifelong resident of the Chesapeake Bay watershed. He is past chair of the Howard County Environmental Sustainability Board, The 2030 General Plan Task Force and the Howard County Conservancy. He also served on the board of the Maryland Academy of Science, The Isaac Walton Conservation League, and the Horizon Foundation. He received a BA from Franklin and Marshall College and a MS from Syracuse University.My Work History: I have been on the staff of The Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland and president of Target Environmental, Columbia Technologies, and Sustainable Growth.My Interests: I am available for presenting talks to interested groups based on my work within the Bay watershed and across the country. I am available for talks on <em><strong>The Chesapeake: Past, present and future, Making America Green Again, and Dealing with Climate Change via Fact and Fiction.</strong></em>Ned has been awarded Preservationist of the Year, and the Winner of the Best Book on Environmental and Natural Resources.
