My Background:
Peter Lane is a Senior Program Associate with the Institute for Conservation Leadership. Peter currently manages ICL’s programming in the Great Lakes, mid-Atlantic, and Southeast. He also manages ICL’s custom-designed services by assessing the needs of groups, and managing the planning and delivery of training, consultation, and other technical assistance projects. While at ICL Peter has led training sessions on organizational change, board development, volunteer management and leadership development, as well as facilitated planning meetings and retreats. He is also on the facilitation team for ICL’s Leading From Within. Peter has twenty years of experience working with nonprofit organizations throughout the Washington, DC area. Peter was also a Peace Corps volunteer in the Congo. He holds a B.A. from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts and an M.Ed. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
