About You |
My Background: I am a Better Waverly resident in Baltimore City where I am active in urban community clean and green organizing efforts. I organized and coordinated open water events throughout Maryland that raised funds for environmental and health groups, including Maryland Swim for Life and Potomac River Swim for the Environment and Save the Patapsco, Hon! The Patapsco project included swimming across the river, raising funds for urban watershed groups, organizing wade-in events and creation of a photo exhibit that was exhibited in public venues throughout the watershed area showing the natural beauty and diversity of this river from its headwaters to its mouth. Upon joining the board of Baltimore City Historical Society I began a series on Exploring Environmental History
My Work History: I retired from MSDAT in 2014.
My Interests: open water swimming, nature photography, community organizing, communcations, environemntal education, bringing people together in support of the environment
