I am part of the Chesapeake Bay Program Office staff working in several project areas: Pre-Chesapeake Watershed Forum Workshop on Financing Green Initiatives, local government and watershed group engagement, the Chesapeake Bay Land Change Model, the Chesapeake Action Plan, and grant project officer for the Chesapeake Bay Innovative Nutrient and Sediment Reduction Program and the biofuels policy development. Before this, I worked in a number of programs at the Environmental Protection Agency including: pollution prevention, technical and environmental expert on trade issues, environmental management and performance, asbestos, toxic substances, consumer product labeling/environmental marketing claims, on hazardous waste Superfund sites, and etc. I grew up in Kansas City, Kansas and spent much of summers and holidays in Colorado. I earned a B.S. from Kansas State University in Resource Management, a M.S. from North Carolina State University in Recreation Resources, and have done post graduate work at the Kennedy School of Government in leadership.
