Work History: 2001-2015 President & CEO, Environmental Concern – "We're All About Wetlands" and improving water quality.
Vice Chair: US National Ramsar Committee – The Convention on Wetlands, called the Ramsar Convention, is an intergovernmental treaty that provides the framework for national action and international cooperation for the conservation and wise use of wetlands and their resources. All countries must designate a Wetland of International Importance when they sign the treaty. Currently, the US has 37 Wetlands of International Importance.
My Interests: Outdoor and indoor gardening; improving the health of the environment – currently working on program in Talbot County to reduce use of plastic bags; recreation on Chesapeake Bay.
