<b>Leib J. Kaminsky</b> works with nonprofit conservation organizations and social justice groups assisting them in building partnerships in the community. He received his BA from the University of Pennsylvania in Environmental Science and Master’s Degree in Environmental Education from the University of Michigan, and has worked with urban youth in the outdoors for more than 25 years. He spent 18 years with the Student Conservation Association, raising more than $15 million. He is the former development director of the Earth Conservation Corps (ECC), National Forest Foundation (NFF) and Corps Network. He is on the advisory council for Avodah (a Jewish Social Justice organization that places interns with local poverty groups), and ACE (Arlingtonians for a Clean Environment) and currently consults for MobilizeGreen, Interfaith Center for Sustainable Development (ICSD), YLACES (Youth Learning as Citizen Environmental Scientists) and Eshel. In his free time, he tutors first graders in reading, plays competitive volleyball across the country, and advises Future Urban Stewards (a program working with adjudicated youth in Detroit restoring vacant lots) and Moshava Atlanta (a nonprofit organization promoting Jewish community life and farming).
