<b>Alison Pearce</b> holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Anthropology and a B.A. in Environmental Science. She has been involved with environmental advocacy and education for twenty years, working on issues from sustainable agriculture to coal mining pollution to preservation of open space in both the Unites States and Central America.
